Something beautiful happens when people come together to do ministry in the name of Jesus with one another, to one another, for the glory of God.
Again, from chapter 2 of Henri Nouwen’s, In the Name of Jesus:
“We cannot bring good news on our own. We are called to proclaim the Gospel together, in community…. Whenever we minister together, it is easier for people to recognize that we do not come in our own name, but in the name of the Lord Jesus who sent us.”
